Purpose: That every woman in the church know Christ personally and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, church, community and throughout the world.
Not only an integral piece of the overall ministry at Faith Presbyterian Church, Women’s Ministries is part of the nation-wide PCA (Presbyterian Church in America) ministry. Our church also works to promote fellowship and opportunities for ministry and instruction beyond our own church walls. There is a place for every woman in Women’s Ministries to use her gifts and talents for Christ.
Realizing that we can do nothing apart from Christ, we joyfully meet the second Tuesday of every month for prayer. Then we put feet to our faith by serving on one or more committees designed to build up the Body of Christ. These include Servant Support and Mercy Ministry to help those in need both within and outside the church, Church Fellowships and Women’s Ministries Events, Spiritual Growth with emphasis on Bible study and prayer, Missions Near & Far, and Nursery service.
Women’s Ministries Events
On the Second Saturday of Every Month, the Ladies Book Club is meeting at Panera Bread, in the Vineyard Shopping Center at Blanco Rd. and Loop 1604. Please join us as we discuss this month’s book or sermon (if you’ve not read it, please come anyway! We’d love to have your discussion!)
Women’s Prayer group meets the second Tuesday of every month at 9:30 a.m in the Library of Faith PCA.
The women of Faith Presbyterian Church love to get together! Some of our many events include baby showers, retreats, teas, time to learn about our missionaries, opportunities to serve our church and our community, decorating the church, and our annual Christmas ornament exchange.
